- Cam Newton is the undeniable MVP after throwing 2 TD’s and running for two more. Cam Newton simply sparkles in the limelight this season he seems to get better every week. Newton will need this going into the playoffs with the Panthers on his back. Newton was also incredibly accurate throwing 21 completions on 26 attempts. He looked pristine in the pocket and threw with a lot of poise. We’ll see if that continues into the playoffs.
- Ryan Fitzpatrick does not do well under pressure. First off hats off to Fitzpatrick who had his best season in his 11 year career this year. He showed considerable improvement and looked like a solid starting Qb and he will be back next year now to the task at hand. Fitzpatrick choked big time he looked shaky from the beginning of this game the offense went 0 of 6 on third down conversions in the first half and got nothing going. In the second half though it looked as if the Jets had rebounded getting a td and finally stopping the relentless Bills offense then Fitzpatrick stepped in. Then he promptly threw it to the wrong guy in the end zone and then on the two ensuing drives. Sure we can’t judge Fitzpatrick on this one game but this was the Jets primetime game there Super Bowl they could have lost the “same old Jets” stigma, they didn’t though and disappointed everyone and let the discussion begin. Should Fitzpatrick start next year?
- The Pats won’t last long in the playoffs if they don’t get healthy quick. It seems the next man up formula in New England has run out. The Miami Dolphins exposed there offensive line and shut down there subpar backup receivers. The worst part, Tom Brady got crunched over and over again, and the one piece New England can’t lose is Brady.
