This is definitely the offseason, that is all I will say.
So if this isn’t the most damn Canadian thing I have ever heard. This lady in Canada stopped a wallet thief and then bought him coffee. This story had me dying. It is just the most Canadian thing to stop a thief then reason, oh this guys down on his luck lets go grab a double double (double cream double sugar) at Timmy’s.
After aprhending a wallet thief behind a dumpster and returning it to its rightful owner this Canadian woman who had her wallet stolen offered the wallet catching woman to walk her back to the street which the wallet catcher turned down with this beautiful line. “If I walked with her I’ll be turning my back on the man who tried to steal.” This lady bless her heart then asks this wallet thief to grab coffee with her.
Ends up the dudes friends had ditched him and he was just looking for thirty bucks to catch a greyhound home. This is a feel good story and a bit funny to say the least but I will close with my favorite line from the report.
When this woman saw the man snatch this ladies wallet the woman’s response was ‘Stop! Thief!’ Legitimately, just like a movie scene,” To tell in an interviewer that right after this bizarre scene just makes this story. I will leave the link below, the story is legitimately not as good without some of the quotes this lady gives.
