So here we are, a quarter way through the NFL season. We have learned a lot, who’s good, who’s bad, and the teams that have come out of nowhere. And then there’s me looking at my season preview which you can also check out on this site and going, Holy F@(k was I wrong. So here’s our newest segment:
Holy F@(k was I wrong.
So the way this works is as follows we look at our predictions from the first season preview and give it a grade based on how it turned out. Then we remake our playoff decisions and we will check again week 8. Hopefully we won’t be as f@((ing wrong as I was the first time around. Let’s go.
NFC
- Last time: Seattle How we did: C Got this one kind of dead on the offense wasn’t as explosive as I thought it would be but they’re still looking better every week. And just because the Rams are ahead of them in the division though this drops to a C.
- Last time: Green Bay How we did: C Well they’re currently a wild card team to but who could have seen the Vikings and the reinvigorated Sam Bradford Coming.
- Last Time: Carolina Panthers How we did: F+++ I mean I knew they would have a little drop off but Holy F@(k 1-3 what is happening in this world in which we Live in.
- Last Time: Dallas Cowboys How we did: A they’re doing much better than expected I love me some Dak Prescott.
- Last Time: Cardinals How we did: F. I mean really I have no words. The Cardinals have been such a Colossal disappointment thus far I will be surprised if they make the 6 seed. So much potential though.
- Last time: Buccaneer’s How we did: F I brought way to hard into Jamies Winston and it Bit me right in the butt.
NFC to week 8
- Seahawks: Even though the Rams have the Lead in the division they will lose one more time in this second quarter of the season. Seattle’s offense also keeps getting better with age they will be tearing up defenses on a weekly basis by week 8.
- Vikings: If the Denver Broncos have taught us anything you can win games if you have a game changing defense. The Vikings defense is the NFCs answer to Denver’s and while they’ll lose another game to before the second quarter they will still be in fantastic playoff position.
- Falcons: Yes, the falcons may drop a few games this quarter, but they will still maintain their NFC power house yes I said power house position. This defense must improve though good news is they get a little better every week.
- Cowboys: This could change, the giants look explosive but I have my money on the Cowboys doing their thing and winning more games than the Giants these next four weeks.
- Eagles: Carson Wentz slows down a little but not much.
- Rams: Yes, the Rams. Another case of Broncos symptom shaky quarter back play backed up by a ferocious defense. I’m inclined to say the Rams after their last 3 wins are a real playoff contender. Don’t misquote me a Playoff contender not a Super Bowls contender.
