Ricks Picks: Tuesday Night Picks

Not a ton of writing in these, just getting out some takes and picks for a big Tuesday sports night.

CBB

St. Bonaventure +2 over Dayton: Despite their recent slide I really like the Bonnies, a really sad part about being in a committed relationship is that I am no longer allowed to binge A10 basketball, I’m watching box scores though.

VCU +5.5 against Saint Louis: It’s a pick on Ryan Odom. He’s got VCU really cooking right now, look for them come March.

Kansas -13.5 against UCF: If Bill Self and crew don’t demolish bubble-bound UCF serious alarms should be going off in Lawrence. This week is a crucible for Kansas, are you a contender or are you just here for the ride?

Saint John’s over Georgetown: The Pitino turn around has been extremely quick. Unfortunately, the Big East is down this year but if Saint John’s keeps winning it really does deserve a look as a team that could potentially make a deep run in March.

Kentucky +10.5 against Tennessee: I keep believing in Mark Pope even after a bit of a tough stretch. This Kentucky team needs a big resume win as they are kind of in the same spot as Kansas. This is one I could see going Kentucky’s way.

NHL

Rangers upset the Hurricanes: I’m back in on Rangers resurgence.

Montreal upsets Winnipeg

Vegas takes care of Dallas at home: If this is a Stars win, it’s an announcement to the league that they are here and they are for real.
