NHL Power Rankings, Vegas Soaring.

1. Tampa Bay
2. Vegas
3. Calgary
4. San Jose
5. Columbus
Tampa remains the heavy favorite to win it all. This team just does not lose. You blinked and now Vegas is in my estimation the best team in the Western Conference. That’s followed closely by surging Calgary and San Jose. Meanwhile, a tight division race has pushed the Blue Jackets to the height of there powers and Sergei Bobrovsky back to all-star form.
6. Nashville
7. Winnipeg
8. Boston
9. New York Islanders
10. Pittsburgh Penguins
Nashville is back to it’s winning ways after a brief slump. Winnipeg is still chugging along and remains a massive threat especially if there goal tending continues to improve. The Islanders are on fire right now 8-2 in their last ten and the Penguins Jake Guentzel continues to impress.
11. Washington
12. Toronto
13. Montreal
14. Minnesota
15. Dallas
Washington’s scoring has slowed but they remain in a neck and neck race with the Blue Jackets. Toronto is down 2 starting goalies, that’s a problem. Montreal continues to hang around. Minnesota is flying through the western conference. And Tyler Seguin and Jaime Benn have turned around after being called horse shit by there GM, yeah that’s a real NHL story.
16. Buffalo
17. Colorado
18. Edmonton
19. Carolina
20. Vancouver
21. Saint Louis
22. Arizona
23. New York Rangers
24. New Jersey
25. Detroit
26. Anaheim
27. Florida
