The biggest questions going into The NFC Title game.
- Can Carson Palmer show up? Palmer had 2 Interceptions against the packers and arguably Larry Fitzgerald won them the game. Russel Wilson showed that you can go deep on the Panthers and Palmer is great at going deep. He will have to keep his composure and prevent turnovers in order to advance to his first ever Super Bowl.
- Is Cam Newton ready for this big a stage? Though Newton came out strong against Seattle 14 of the teams 31 first half points came from Russel Wilson pick sixes. Then in the second half Newton didn’t do anything bad with the ball like turn it over but he didn’t put any points on the board. To beat Arizona this team has to stay consistent and Newton has to show up for both halfs.
- Will either of these Defenses be ready? Both of these teams defenses gave up big leads in the second half. You just have to think that maybe two of the top Defenses of the regular season are slowing down. The Carolina and Arizona Defenses both seem to be strong early and struggle late so it just seems to be a matter of endurance these two teams have to remember it’s a marathon not a sprint to get to the Lombardi trophy.
