3 things we learned from NFL week 13: The NFC Wildcard race is wide open

  1. The Falcons defense will be there down fall: The 27th ranked defense in the league is holding one of the most explosive offenses of the decade back. Sundays gut wrenching loss to the Chiefs could perhaps starts a tailspin that could push the Bucs in.
  2. Joe Flacco’s time to shine is now: December just makes Joe Flacco a different player. The one signal caller who could perhaps beat Tom Brady in December and deep in January. If Flacco can show two weeks of consistency it’s time to buy in on the Ravens as a playoff team, and perhaps, a contender.
  3. With Dallas clinching a playoff spot and the NFC east slowly falling apart who will get those wild card spots? : If the Giants continue on this down path and Washington loses again the NFC is wide open again. Look out for the Pack and the Bucs down the stretch.
  4. Extra point: This week on the blog: NBA power Rankings, A word on College football, A brief love letter, Skyline Men’s Basketball season Report.
