3 things we learned from Week 1 of pre season:Exotic Smashmouth might actually work

  1. Don’t assume anything: Who knew Dak Prescott would be so good? Who knew Wentz and Goff were so bad? Demarco Murray is back to his old self and this Exotic smashmouth might actually work. Whatever it is don’t assume anything in the NFL because anything can happen.
  2. Preseason offenses are much better than preseason defenses: on exception of the bears every offense this weekend had big numbers. Now that says two things: one defense are more important than offenses in the league because coaches rest there starters on defense while star qbs at least play one drive. Two Offenses are much deeper than defenses in the league. When you can’t stop a third string offense there’s a problem.
  3. Stories for week 2: Can Rg3 continue to improve? He didn’t look terrible in his browns debut after his first NFL action in two years well see if Rg3 can improve. Can Demarco Murray and Derreck Henry continue to dominate? One of Murrays problems was last year was consistency so if he can keep it going then there is really cause for excitement in the Volunteer state. Bronco’s qb battle. Im excited to see if Trevor Siemiean and Paxton Lynch can Develop in week two I want to see Paxton Lynch make some more difficult throws and avoid the sacks.
