- Don’t buy in on the Dolphins: Miami beats San Diego, Ryan Tanehill looks ok, defense looks good. But don’t give this team a second thought if they make the playoff, which because of the AFC west is probably not going to happen, they will be dealt out of it quickly. This team had a great win, but cool your jets on the playoff talk.
- Seattle New England, lived……up…..to……..the……HYPE: Arguably the best game of the season on Sunday night. It truly was what America had needed after a rough week. It all came down to a goal line stand yet again yet this time it was Seattle holding New England out of the end zone. This despite the Patriots having all four downs on the one yard line. I’ve been saying it all year, only the Seahawks can beat the Patriots. Whenever these two teams meet there are fireworks and with Russell Wilson looking like Russel Wilson again and the return of a run game, give me one reason, other than the Cowboys, that we won’t see these two teams play again in February.
- Exotic Smash mouth actually works and it might get the Titans a playoff spot: The Tennessee Titans destroyed the Green Bay Packers on Sunday scoring 47 points. The Titans offense is simple but effective, hand the ball to Demarco Murray and then let Marcus Mariota drop bombs down the field. Is this system enough to get the Titans a playoff berth? In the AFC south absolutely. All the titans have to do is beat the Colts and the Texans and this team even if they end up 9-7 has a chance to win the division.
- The Packers and The Broncos, may make the playoffs but won’t make a dent: Denver just keeps getting lucky its got to run out at some point (although we said that last year) and there’s a chance Aaron Rodgers just isn’t that good anymore.
