I’M THE GM: Fixing one problem for each of the AFC teams minus the Super Bowl champs.

AFC East

Miami Dolphins: Get Ryan Tanehill healthy, Tanehill had a great season under head coach Adam Gase and I believe that the Dolphins would have won a playoff game with Tanehill under center. The Dolphins need one more play maker on offense adding a mid tier receiver like Kenny Britt might be a good idea.

New York Jets: In an extremely dry Qb market the Jets have the toughest offseason ahead. You have to build through the draft if you’re the Jets because of Cap issues so if he’s available you take Qb Deshaun Watson with the sixth pick of the draft. You then go about replacing Darell Revis who you could probably trade for a 4th or 5th round pick. But in an extremely good draft for Corner Backs you take one early in the second round.

Buffalo Bills: You get your crap together and realize Tyrod Taylor is a franchise quarter back. Doug Whaley is a trash GM and doesn’t realize talent. EJ Manuel is not your answer.

AFC North

Pittsburgh Steelers: Its all about retaining Leveon Bell and keeping your players out of trouble. Remember you get Martavius Bryant back from a year suspension next year. Just make sure you keep your players in check Tomlin. These guys get more low level drug offenses and suspensions off it then any team in the league it seems.

Baltimore Ravens: With the loss of Steve Smith this team needs to load up at the receiver position. Alshon Jeffery is an enticing name to pair up with the big arm of Joe Flacco. Speaking of Flacco maybe you take a QB in the third round as your plan for the future Cal’s Davis Webb seems like a guy to go with.

Cincinatti Bengals: Sign a Corner Back in free agency and give Andy Dalton another weapon Pierre Garcon would fit well in Cinci.

Cleveland Browns: Where to start, Ok two scenarios. Scenario A you send your 12th pick and two second rounder’s for Jimmy Garapalo and draft the next Von Miller according to draft analyst in Myles Garret. That’s the dream scenario. Scenario B the Jimmy G trade doesn’t work out and you have a choice to make. Generational Pass rusher or an answer to your Qb issues in Clemson’s Desaun Watson who was described by a coach at the senior bowl as, like Dak Prescott but with skills. It’s a tough decision but I tend to lean towards the pass rush and then wait and see if Watson falls to twelve if not Watson then Deshone Kizer or Mitch Trubisky.

AFC South

Houston Texans: The Brock Osweiler experiment was a failure turn your attention to in house talent like Tom Savage and let that defense that will get JJ Watt back carry you. Maybe you grab a Geno Smith or get Brian Hoyer back in the building if you really want new QB talent.

Tennessee Titans: Add a wide receiver and retain your pieces. Marcus Mariotas ceiling is incredibly high and with a top ten draft pick the Titans can grab one more offensive line man. If Desean Jackson could be lured away from Washington the Titans offense could be as explosive as the Falcons were this year.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Nothing fix Blake Bortles mechanics and give it one more year if it crashes and burns scrap the whole thing and start from scratch.

Indianapolis Colts: Give Andrew Luck time and protection so he can be a Tom Brady level passer. Green Bay’s TJ Lang would be a good option. Then draft another O line man and sign one difference making defensive players. Baby steps on improving this defense load the offensive line first and see how far Andrew Luck can take you.

AFC West

Oakland Raiders: Retain Pieces go after a running back and draft a defensive back. Most importantly make sure your franchise aka Dereck Carr gets healthy.

Kansas City Chiefs: Make a decision on Alex Smith. If hes not what you want for the next five years offer him to the Browns or the better option and go like for like trade, Smith for Romo. Alex Smith would be a perfect backup in Dallas and they could deal him for draft picks if they wanted too. Romo would fit well in Kansas City.

Los Angeles Chargers: Get another receiver and hope things break right for you this year.

Denver Broncos: Ignore Romo fix the O line. Matt Kalil and the Patriots Sebastion Vollmer would both make good fits in Denver. Draft a lineman as well and ship out as many of the current O line guys as you can for draft picks. Then give the young guns the reigns and see which one emerges as the starter at Qb.
