TDOIA: Top 25

Another Friday another TDOIA top 25. Some interesting developments this week. UNC drops out of my rankings. They’ve lost five games and though South Carolina is a great team I just feel as if Chapel hill isn’t playing top 25 basketball right now. Kansas falls but not to far after a well played game that ended in a loss against Oklahoma. Clemson losing Donte Grantham and to Virginia knocks them out of the top 25. Meanwhile in the ACC Miami rises after a good win at Louisville who for the first time this year get ranked. Arizona State finally loses its luster after a loss to Utah. I’m a Utah fan and I know my team will most likely miss the tourney but somehow we still beat ASU. Here are the Rankings

1. Villanova (1)
2. Purdue (4): With Virginia holding Clemson to only 36 it would be tempting to put them there but then you realize Clemson lost one of their top scorers this week to an ACL injury. Purdue dominated a good Michigan team and looks like the best team in the Big Ten riding a 16 game winning streak.
3. Virginia (2): You hold a team to under 40 points even without their best scorer you best believe you end up in the top 3.
4. Duke (3): A win against Wake Forest even if it was only a 14 point game is a win. Duke remains top 5.
5. Michigan State (7): Kansas falls, Tom Izzo and Miles Bridges rise into the top 5 again.
6. Xavier (6)
7. Oklahoma (10)
8. Kansas (5)
9. Auburn (16)
10. Cincinnati (11)
11. Arizona (12)
12. Miami (17)
13. West Virginia (8)
14. TCU (13)
15. Texas Tech (9)
16. Wichita State (14)
17. Creighton (21)
18. Saint Mary’s (24)
19. Gonzaga (NR)
20. Louisville (NR)
21. Ohio State (18)
22. Rhode Island (25)
23. Seton Hall (NR)
24. Kansas State (NR)
25. Florida (19)
Out of the Rankings: Clemson, Stanford, UNC, Arizona State
