The Pac 12 Report: The Wild West.

It was just one of those weeks in the Pac 12. A week where you can forget about basically every single thing you thought you knew. These come about three times a year in the Pac 12 and why the conference while intensely fun never gets a team into the national spot light. This isn’t the SEC, there are no cupcakes here. So let’s get into it.

1. Washington (1): Did Washington dominate UCLA the way they should have? No absolutely not. This team looks lost on offense and have for a few weeks now. We’ll see how that works out for them as they have a huge game against Oregon next week.
2. Oregon (3): BYE
3. Colorado (4): I feel I haven’t given this team enough respect. The national star of this team is QB Steven Montez, but the no doubt best player on this team is Laviska Shenault. Shenault 127 yards and two touchdowns through the air and two touchdowns rushing out of the wild cat. He is a legit star and this Colorado team, the last undefeated school in the Pac 12, seems to be on there way to being a legit threat to win the Pac 12.
4. Washington State (5): Garner Mishew is a legit top prospect at QB. Throwing five touchdowns against a Beavers team who kept this game really close in the first half. Washington State is a legit contender in the north as they sit just one game back of division leader Washington.

5. USC (6): BYE
6. Stanford (2): Without Bryce Love this team got EMBARASSED in Salt Lake City. Don’t get it twisted, the Cardinal were never in this game.
7. Utah (9): The Utes get their best win of the year. Suddenly the quest for a South title does not look so desperate in a wide-open Pac 12 South. Zack Moss dominated Stanford’s defense. They have a huge game next week at home verse Arizona. If they get the win they are right back in the mix at 2-2 in the conference.

8. Arizona (11): However, this is an Arizona team that is coming off arguably there best game of the year and one in which their defense played lights out.
9. Arizona State (7): Yeah, about Herm Edwards being this masterful head coach.
10. Cal (8): Turnover prone team gets smacked.
11. Oregon State (11): They kept it close in the first half, I guess, get better guys cmon!
12. UCLA (12): Weren’t an outright embarrassment. That shouldn’t be a compliment, but it is.
