What we learned: Houston Rolls without Greg Ward Jr. Florida State Continues to roll

  • Houston shut out Lamar and put on a blowout 42-0 without star QB Gregg Ward Jr. The Houston offense this week went ground n pound with Kervin Justice, Mulbah Car, and Kyle Postma rushed for over 300 yards and 5 combined touchdowns.
  • Michigan walked over FCS. QB Wilton Speight looked unbelievably good throwing four touchdowns the wolverines look unstoppable and will face there toughest team yet in Colorado next week. Which isn’t saying much.
  • Texas A and M continue to make College station one of the happiest stadiums in college football. Trevor night threw for three touchdowns and 344 yards. This A and M team could get rolling to a really big start with three easy games in the next three weeks. Although they will have to watch for the perennial upset power of college football next week.
  • Clemson and Deshaun Watson continue to struggle. Watson tossed two interceptions as the Tigers squeaked by Troy.
  • Deondre Franncois has turned me into a Seminole fan. After leading the biggest comeback in school history Francois threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns. And running back and Heisman frontrunner Dalvin Cook was just running over people I mean you cant tackle this guy he reminds me of Dereck Henry.
  • Of course I cant skip this one. Central Michigan stunned Oklahoma sate with a last second hail mary.
