Picking the Power Five Basketball champs.

With only a few weeks left until March madness major questions in college hoops remain. The most important of those and the one we focus on today is who will win each of the Power five Conferences. This is not necessarily who has the best record but who will win the conferences end of year tourney. So without further ado let it begin.

Big Ten: Wisconsin. With a strong front court and decent guard play the Badgers can bully there way past Purdue and into the Conference finals. Ethan Happ is averaging a double double in scoring and assists. The Badgers also average 7 steals a game, that’s close to the best in the nation. In the tourney Wisconsin could make a splash I see them hitting the Elite Eight.

Big 12: Kansas. Bill Selfs team in my opinion based purely off watching every top team this year, looks like the best in the nation. The play of a dynamic back court that features Frank Mason is a big reason for that. The Jayhawks shoot a fantastic 48% from the field. If there is a year for this team it feels like this is it. If there’s no Cinderella story Villanova eques team to challenge Kansas I see them making the championship game.

ACC: Syracuse. Call me crazy but it just feels like after their win over Duke last night these guys can run the table all the way through the ACC tourney. Jim Boeheims team doesn’t have any name brand players but they could certainly make a run with the B+ roster they claim right now.

SEC: Kentucky. This is simply because of the fact the SEC does not currently have a competitor for the Wildcats in Basketball. Coach Cal has simply made too strong a team to fail, in regular season play. In the tourney this Wildcats team is the weakest we’ve seen in a while I could see an upset on them in the sweet sixteen.

Pac 12: Oregon. Yes Lonzo Ball and UCLA are a fun and fast team to watch. Dillon Brooks has more talent around him. Players like Jordan Bell and Payton Pritchard not to mention the dynamic big Chris Boucher. The talent surrounding the Duck Program will get them deep into the tourney I smell Elite Eight or Final Four.

So there you have it the winners of each power five conference. Theres a few long weeks left until March let the Madness begin.
