Why do I do this to myself? Why do I write a million times on this very blog, Tom Brady wont lose another game? And then I pick against him. No more, my pick for the AFC rep to the super bowl was the Kansas City chiefs and boy did they let me down. Alex Smith is at this point holding the Chiefs back. The KC boys are out now though so let’s move to the Pats. They will move on to the super bowl.
Why? Well because the Pittsburgh Steelers aint gonna win with field goals against Bills boys. The Patriots offense wont lean on Brady though. The pass rush of Pittsburgh is to talented. Instead they will have to lean on Dion Lewis, and Legarette Blount. The key for the Pats offensive line is to hold down James Harrison he is the cog that makes this defense work. You can take Bud Dupree out of the game plan if you shut down Harrisons disruptions. Then the focus shifts to Ryan Shazier. If the Steelers win they’ll win with defense.
Leveon Bell may be the Steelers only hope on offense. That certainly isn’t a bad thing. The Pats will put the clamps down early on Antonio Brown. The secondary is good enough to shut down the receivers long enough for the pass rush to get to Big Ben. That still leaves the hesitant running back who crosses people up as he runs. You can’t really contain Leveon Bell because he is such a threat through the air as a receiver as well. He is impossible to get down on the ground and hard to cover because Antonio Brown and the other Steeler receivers need extra attention. Bell can win the game for the Steelers.
All that being said I’m picking the Patriots. Because every time I pick against Tom Brady he puts up a massive day and laughs in my face.TB12 has a way of winning the biggest games. Although he might get a little uncomfortable with the Steel cities pass rush Brady will find a way to make enough changes to take his Pats to the Super Bowl.
