NBA Power Rankings, Spurs out rank Cavs and Rockets, Celtics make big jump

  1. Golden State Warriors: Are they as good as last year? Is Steph in MVP mode? The answers to these questions are no. Kevin Durant doesn’t care though hell carry this team.
  2. San Antonio Spurs: You know you’re a dynasty when winning seasons are routine.
  3. Houston Rockets: James Harden and second year star Sam Dekker can take this team into the post season on fire. A quality second string center would help them.
  4. Boston Celtics: Isaiah Thomas is taking the Eastern Conference by storm and making himself a house hold name. If Melo went anywhere I’d like to see him go here.
  5. Cleveland Cavaliers: String of injuries at worst possible time knocks the Cavs into the second or third seed in the east. They need some depth at the deadline.
  6. LA Clippers: Chris Paul can’t get back quick enough.
  7. Utah Jazz: Some consistency is starting to come for the Jazz. If I’m Quinn Snyder I’m begging for a three point shooter at the deadline.
  8. Memphis Grizzlies: The grizzlies shoot a dismal 38.8% from three they need to get better in that category if they want to be a contender.
  9. Washington Wizards: John Wall can only take you so far.
  10. OKC Thunder: Russell Westbrook can only take you so far.
